Toronto is growing, and I believe our infrastructure needs to keep pace with that growth if we want our neighbourhoods to remain livable.
A safe, reliable TTC isn’t a luxury. It’s an essential city service. I’m committed to practical improvements that make transit safer, more dependable and affordable for everyone.
Safer for everyone
I want people to feel safe and supported when they use public transit. That means:
Increasing visible TTC staff and Special Constables where needed most
Expanding mental-health and crisis-response partnerships to better support people in need
Keeping roads, transit stations and vehicles clean and well-maintained
Better every day
Reliable public transit makes a difference in people’s everyday lives. Nadia will advocate for:
Improving TTC reliability and reducing delays on busy routes
Using service data to identify problems and improve performance
Better coordination between the TTC, City departments and transit partners
Moving Toronto forward
Our streets need to work for everyone. I’ll support a coordinated approach to transportation that includes:
Improving safety for pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and transit riders
Deploying traffic agents where needed most to reduce congestion and bottlenecks
Supporting a city-wide transportation system that works together
I believe reliable transit must also be affordable.
I’ll advocate for consistent funding from other levels of government to reduce pressure on fares and property taxes, while supporting efforts to freeze and cap fares.
I also want to explore ways to reduce transit costs for seniors and youth, and improve fare integration to make public transit a more accessible choice.
