TENANTS DESERVE A CITY
THAT WORKS FOR THEM

Tenants are not temporary residents —they're part of the fabric of our community.

Nadia is committed to safer buildings, greater housing stability and ensuring renters have a meaningful voice in decisions affecting their homes and neighbourhoods.

Safe & Well-Maintained Buildings

Every tenant deserves a safe, well-maintained home.

Nadia will advocate for stronger RentSafeTO enforcement and follow-up, greater accountability for repeat problem buildings, and faster action on repairs, elevators, heating, pests and accessibility concerns.

Affordability & Housing Stability

Affordable housing and tenant protections are essential to strong, stable neighbourhoods.

Nadia will stand with tenants against unfair cost pass-throughs and above-guideline rent increases, advocate to the Province for stronger rent control and tenant protections, and support housing growth that considers affordability, infrastructure and the needs of existing residents.

A Real Voice for Renters

Tenants deserve a meaningful role in decisions affecting their communities.

Nadia will establish a Ward 4 renter advisory table with tenants, seniors and community partners, advocate for meaningful consultation on development decisions, and improve communication during construction and service disruptions.

Stronger Neighbourhoods, Together

A strong community includes everyone.

Tenants are part of the fabric of Parkdale–High Park. Nadia believes strong tenant protections and good landlords help build stronger neighbourhoods.

By listening and working together, we can find practical solutions that make life better for renters.

Preventing and Responding to Homelessness

Everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home.

I'll support efforts to prevent homelessness and strengthen connections to housing, outreach and mental-health services, including Toronto's Streets to Homes program, which helps people experiencing homelessness find and maintain housing.

TRUSTED BY LEADERS. BACKED BY COMMUNITY.
