Eligible contributors may receive a rebate from the City of Toronto for monetary contributions over $25 to participating candidates. This is not a tax credit, as municipal campaign contributions are not tax deductible.
Contributions are accepted only from individuals normally resident in Ontario and are subject to municipal campaign finance limits. Contributions from corporations, trade unions, organizations, and groups are not permitted. Contributions are not tax deductible. Eligible contributors may qualify for a City of Toronto rebate.
